East Valley town council set to vote on annexing Pinal County land

The Queen Creek Town Council is expected to approve the annexation of almost 7 acres of Pinal County land and some residents are concerned it may be the first step toward bringing commercial activity to the area.

At its upcoming Wednesday meeting, the council will vote on whether to annex two vacant parcels making up 6.9 acres generally located at the southeast corner of Ocotillo and Meridian roads in Pinal County.
