East Valley town approves $19M to start building infrastructure for transporting Harquahala water

With the first payment made for Queen Creek’s Harquahala water purchase, the town is now turning to the infrastructure needed to get the water into the town.

At its Wednesday meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council voted to shift more than $19 million to pay for new water resource infrastructure, including service contracts.
