East Valley council to vote on tax rate, expensive projects this week

Chandler's City Council approves more than $100 million in appropriations all the time.

This week, the council will have the opportunity to vote on a $127 million appropriation that isn't even a full contract.

Council will vote on a $127 million revision to a contract with Archer Western Construction, LLC that makes it a $141 million contract in total. The contract is for the water system upgrades program at the Pecos Surface Water Treatment Plant.
