East Valley city council has Little Leaguers, code amendment, legal matters on agendas

A zoning code amendment is one of dozens of decisions the Chandler City Council will be asked to tackle during its only public-meeting week of September.

Council will be asked to approve an ordinance that would remove code language that addresses businesses that have outdoor audio speakers.

That’s one of about 30 items on Council’s agenda for its 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14 study session, set to begin after that evening’s 6 p.m. regular meeting. Study session items can be pulled for discussion or simply moved on to the 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 regular meeting agenda.
