In just over a year of operation, The Catalyst business resource center has become a heavily used hub for entrepreneurs, small businesses and aspiring founders in Gilbert, according to figures presented this month by the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce.
The Catalyst, operated by the Gilbert Chamber Foundation in partnership with the town of Gilbert and its Office of Economic Development, opened in September 2024 as a centralized space offering professional resources, training and support for local businesses.
“In just 15 months, the catalyst has grown into a vibrant hub for innovation, workforce development and community engagement,” Elaine Kessler, the chamber’s director of foundation and community impact, told a "Good Government" meeting Thursday between the chamber and Gilbert officials.
