Early voting: Queen Creek schools bond, override failing

With early results in, Queen Creek residents are so far saying a resounding “no” to a $98 million Queen Creek Unified School District school bond issue.

More than 60%, or 6,924 residents, have cast their votes against the school bond. By comparison, there are 4,524 “yes” votes at just more than 39%.

Voters are also saying “no” to a budget continuation override, but so far, the gap is not as wide as that of the bond vote.
