Technology can be an important tool for educators and parents in guiding child development, despite concerns that early use of tablets, mobile phones and computers causes more harm.

Children increasingly have access to technologies at a young age, begging the question of whether consistent exposure to these technologies benefits or hinders their development.

Tablets in particular are a staple for many households for keeping young children entertained, with this new generation of technologically inclined youths dubbed as “iPad kids” by social media users.
