Election 2022

Incumbent behind in Queen Creek school board race

The candidate who homeschools his children remains on track to take one of two seats on the Queen Creek Unified School District’s Governing Board that are up for grabs.

The latest vote update shows incumbent Samantha Davis is leading the race with 39% of the vote. James Knox who homeschools his children, is in second with 36%. Meanwhile, long-time board member Ken Brague is in third at 26%.

In answer to a Queen Creek Independent questionnaire, Davis said that after four years of serving on the board, "I feel even more compelled to stay actively involved."
