Mr. Earl D. Cameron, 92, died June 18, 2017 at Royal Oaks Health Care facility in Sun City, AZ. He was born in Rutland, VT.He was retired from Chrysler Corporation and moved to Sun City in 1980. He was a veteran of World War II, having served as a platoon leader in the Combat Engineers. He was awarded five bronze battle stars for his participation in the Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns. He was past president of the congregations of American Lutheran Church of Sun City (ELCA) and of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Sun City (WELS).Mr. Cameron is survived by his wife, Lois, daughter Sandra of Sun City, son David of Somerville, AL, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as his sister Virginia of Rutland, VT. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Sheryl, brothers Howard and George and sister Elizabeth.Services will be private.
