Dysart Unified approves more sick leave

Positive COVID test through June 30 allows for 80 hours paid

Positive COVID cases are rising and have been for several weeks.

While the Dysart Unified School District has adapted to the changes as they were presented, district officials have seen a rise in absences amongst district employees, due to the pandemic. Initially the procedure included quarantining if exposed to COVID but have not tested positive and using personal leave days.

Now, district employees will see a change starting Jan. 1 and expiring June 30 of this year due to the expiration of the Families First Coronovirus Response Act Dec. 31.
