The Dysart Unified School District recently received a statewide honor.
The Arizona School Public Relations Association named DUSD Superintendent Quinn Kellis as the superintendent of the year for 2020 for his contributions to education. The award recognizes leadership, commitment to good communications, support of public relations and the ability to work with staff, parents and the community.
According to the DUSD website, some of his nomination paperwork include his dedication to communications, including his weekly Super in 60 Seconds videos, regular staff and parent emails and the push to live stream governing board meetings for accountability.
