At the start of the month, the Dysart Unified School District Governing Board made a move in the search for its next full-time superintendent.
The board voted unanimously, 5-0, to enter into contract negotiations with Jim Dean to serve as the next superintendent.
Jim Dean has been serving in the acting superintendent role for Dysart Schools since May. Dean holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Acacia University, Masters in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix and a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.
