For parents looking to enroll a student in a school out of the specific residential area, the time is now.
Dysart Unified School District has a little more than 4,500 open enrolled students, which is up from about 3,800 in 2018-2019. Seven hundred of this year’s open enrollments are individuals from outside of the district boundaries. This number is up from 429 in 2018-19.
Dysart will accept priority open enrollment applications for the 2022-2023 school year from through Jan. 14, 2022. After this priority period, submitted applications will continue to be accepted and will be reviewed on a monthly basis as capacity becomes available.
