Dysart district continues to serve 18,000 daily meals

2.4 million total expected for 2020-21

Nutrition services is a key component in the Dysart Unified School District.

Nutrition services staff served 18,000 meals per day across the district and are projected to serve in the range of 2.5 million to 2.7 million meals during the 2020-21 school year, while serving with 40% fewer staff.

Currently, 180 people make up the team including the leadership department, support staff and kitchen managers. A fully staffed department is made up of approximately 230 total employees.
