Student enrollment is on the rise in northwest Surprise and for the Dysart Unified Schoool District that means making adjustments to accomadate families.
During the summer months, Asante Prepartory Acdemy will receive two portable buildings. These two buildings will produce four classrooms, which are necessary due to the jump in enrollmlent from 406 in 2019-2020, including preschool through eighth grade, to 865 currently.
“Dysart Schools are committed to providing families with an extraordinary experience, and while the needed funds are not currently available to build another school, we will do everything in our power to accommodate the growth and educational needs of the community,” DUSD spokesperson Renee Ryon said.
