While one high school took a small dip in its cohort graduation rate, overall the Dysart Unified School District remained within the same percentile of graduates in 2019-20.
The graduation rates for the 2020-21 school year have yet to be finalized. Last year’s senior codes are still in the clean up phase. That typically takes place in the fall, with the assumption the state will receive figures by October to assess and release this current school year.
“Dysart High School did take a dip from 2019-2020 during the closure, but their five-year graduation rate did bounce up to 92% from where they have been previously,” said Amy Hartjen, Dysart Unified School District director of research and achievement — and former Dysart High School principal.
