Dysart district data shows post high school success

Decline in areas due to COVID

Data points play a major role in contributing to the success of students and the Dysart Unified School District remain focused on getting students college and career-ready with the skills to be successful upon graduation.

Amy Hartjen, Director of Research and Accountability gave an overview of post high school student success data which included data from the National Student Clearinghouse from the class of 2020, students who enrolled in college immediately after high school, persistence factors, state university and community college feedback from Helios. She also touched on student success in state university and community colleges and career and technical education post graduation placement.

While a great deal of data is taken from the National Clearinghouse, Hartjen said not all students who attended college after graduation are accounted for as students can opt out and their information is not shared back to the district.
