Deer Valley Unified School District Governing Board will hold budget talks at its work session, 6 p.m., Tuesday, 20402 N. 15th Ave.

The Board also will have a consultation with Ray and Associates regarding the superintendent search. at 5 p.m. The board recently hired the company to find a replacement for Dr.  James R. Veitenheimer, who will retire in June.

The Board's regular meeting kicks off later at 7 p.m. Agenda items include action to approve the 2017 contract language for administrative, exempt and certificated contracts and a preview of the cost for the Desert Sky Middle School modernization project.
