Duplexes planned near stadium in Glendale

A for-sale duplex development a mile east of State Farm Stadium’s parking lot in Glendale cleared one hurdle with the city’s planning commission May 28.

Called Westgate Parc, it is planned as a 78-home residential duplex community by D.R. Horton. It requires a minor general plan amendment from medium density residential to medium high-density residential.

The land owner also wants a rezoning on the 10 acres from single residence to a planned area development.
