DUI, traffic enforcement grants accepted by Queen Creek

At its Wednesday meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council accepted two state grants, one for DUI/traffic enforcement and the other to provide training and equipment for traffic-enforcement efforts.

The grants are from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The items were on the council’s consent agenda. Items on the consent agenda are approved or rejected with one vote unless a council member or member of the public asks that an item be removed for a separate discussion or vote.
