Duet: Partners In Health & Aging earned a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Arizona’s 8th Congressional District.

The recognition highlights the more than 42 years of commitment Duet has had to delivering vitally needed free-of-charge services to older adults across the Valley.

“We are honored to be recognized for the programs and services our staff and volunteers work tirelessly to provide,” Ann Wheat, Duet’s executive director, shared in a press release. “The time is now for us to come together with the community and provide assistance for the older adults around us.”

Duet’s office is located at 10000 N. 31st Ave., Suite D200, in Phoenix.

The Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition honors individuals, organizations and others who have gone above and beyond to give back to the community and strive to make a difference for those in need in order to make their lives better.

In 2022, Duet expanded services which led to 2,426 homebound adults, family caregivers, and grandfamilies access support and resources – an increase of 36% more people served from 2021. This was made possible in part by the organization’s 309 volunteers who gave 11,544 hours of the time to help homebound adults fight isolation through companionship and receive access to healthy food and medical care.
