INDIANAPOLIS, IND - Duane C. Mercer, 70, Eminence, passed away on June 7, 2015 at Franciscan St, Francis Health at Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on April 4, 1945 at New Castle, Indiana and was the son of the late Arthur Mercer and Mildred [Gifford] Mercer. He married Donna J. [Sinclair] Mercer on June 8, 1968 and she survives. Duane is also survived by his sister Phyils Jones, San Diego, California. He was a member of the Cloverdale Church of Christ, Masonic Lodge #440, F. & A. M. at Eminence, Indiana and the Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite at Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
