Drivers prepare: Weekend road work covers the Valley

Drivers throughout the Valley should prepare for weekend freeway restrictions from Friday night until Monday morning, state transportation officials said.

Here’s what to expect from Oct. 23-26:

  • Northbound SR 51 will be closed between Glendale Avenue and Shea Boulevard from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a pavement improvement project.
