Road trips over the weekend will not be hampered by any planned construction work on Arizona freeways, state transportation officials said.
Drivers should be prepared to merge safely and use care when traveling through existing construction zones, including the Broadway Curve between Phoenix and Tempe, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Real-time highway conditions are available on ADOT’s Arizona Traveler Information site at az511.gov and the AZ511 app (download free for Apple and Android devices).
