Driver arrested, charged following fatal Scottsdale Road vehicle collision

Police: Impairment is a factor

A man has been charged with manslaughter following a vehicle collision at Scottsdale and Chaparral roads on Sunday night.

Christopher Fernandez, 33, died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision, police officials say.

At 9:48 p.m. on Feb. 21, Scottsdale Police Department responded to a two vehicle collision at Scottsdale and Chaparral roads.
