Bob was born on April 17, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York, the only child of Alex and Florence Levy. He was the product of the New York public school system graduating with honors. He attended Cornell University as an undergraduate achieving a degree in Biochemistry. He decided to go into Medicine and attended the University of Chicago medical school where he graduated in 1967. After his internship and residency at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco he practiced Internal Medicine and Rheumatology for 33 years in Olympia, Washington. When he retired from Medicine he moved to Arizona and became the Clinical development Director at Primus Pharmaceutical Company in Scottsdale, Arizona. Bob loved his family, friends and animals. his passion was sailing, he also loved outdoor activities, hiking in the mountains and the beauty of nature. He was kind and loving to all his patients and friends. In 2013 Bob reunited with Barbara, the love of his life, they were married in 2016 and made a home in Fountain Hills, Arizona. He died at home with Barbara and Hospice care present on May 15, 2025. He is survived by wife Barbara, son Jondavid Levy of Salt Lake City, Utah and grandson Aidan Bodell of England. He will be dearly missed.
