D.R. Horton plans to bid on land near Desert Ridge

D.R. Horton is the applicant in a September land auction.

A home developer is eyeing 52.9 acres about three miles north of Desert Ridge Marketplace in Phoenix, according to the Arizona State Land Department.

D.R. Horton plans to bid on the land via an auction at noon Tuesday, Sept. 23, said Lynn Cordova, a spokesperson for the Arizona State Land Department.

The minimum bid for the property is $37.75 million.
