Guests can enjoy agave spirits Tequila & Mezcal + Sotol, from the Chihuahua Desert, as well as other tequila, mezcal, and sotol spirits. The event will also feature live entertainment including a Mariachi band, Ballet Folklorico, and fine art from Mata Ortiz pottery.
The event will be put on by Imex Live Events, a woman-owned, local small business whose mission is to bring Mexican culture, sustainable tourism and traditions to others interested in exploring Mexico.
“The Spirits of Mexico Cultural & Tourism event is a great opportunity for Phoenix to get a taste of the beautiful culture in Chihuahua, Mexico,” Yazmin Quezada, Imex Events founder, shared in a press release. “We hope this event encourages people to visit Chihuahua and promotes international tourism.”
Cost is $50. Admission includes a recycled glass engraved shot glass, 10 sample tickets to taste the spirits, access to the festival area, activities, and an option to register for a cooking class. Food is sold separately.
