Downtown Phoenix food bank in need of volunteers, donations

A downtown Phoenix food bank is in need of volunteers.

The food bank, Nourish Phoenix, is asking for the public’s help handing out food boxes to needy individuals where officials see between 150 to 175 families every weekday, said Beth Fiorenza, executive director of the food bank.

“(There will be) a need as long as expenses are staying up,” Fiorenza said.
