Downtown hotel embraces new refugee employees

Some Valley employers have gotten creative when it comes to finding workers when most in the hospitality industry have had a thin workforce since the pandemic.

Local hotels are no different.

But Afghan and Syrian refugees have helped fill in the gaps at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, 340 N. Third St. in Phoenix.
