Downtown Glendale’s new cafe lighting project is just about complete.
Discussions to add decorative lighting to enhance visitors’ experience in Historic Downtown Glendale began in September 2020, and City Manager Kevin Phelps at Tuesday afternoon’s council workshop reported that installation of the lights along Glendale Avenue is complete.
The decorative lights extend along Glendale from 58th Drive to 58th Avenue, and installation was completed Sunday. The next steps, Phelps added, will be to program the lights and run tests.
