Dorothea Kerwin, 89, of Sun City West, passed away on July 20, 2018. She was born on February 1, 1929 in Carbondale, PA to William and Leah Fitch.Dorothea married C. Robert Kerwin 70 years ago on June 12, 1948. She was a quiet woman with a great presence, living a life that was pleasing to God. "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life; mind your own business and do work with your hands" (Thess. 4:11). Her family will never forget her unconditional love, support, strength and talents.She was a master craftsman who has left a gift of wonderful memories for all of her family through her handmade quilts. Dorothea is survived by her husband, C. Robert Kerwin; her daughter, Barbara Wirtz and son in-law, Karl; son, Donald Kerwin, daughter in-law, Linda; grandchildren: Lee Ann and Ashley Kerwin; and son, Robert Kerwin.The family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
