As the eyes and ears of the Sun Cities, the Sun City and Sun City West posses are only able to provide service due the gracious communities.
“We are not law enforcement. We have no authority to pull anyone over, write a ticket or arrest anyone,” Edward Stern, Sun City West Posse commander, said.
Both posses works closely with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and try to work together to make the Sun Cities a better place. It starts with the generosity of the residents in the Sun Cities. Stern said 100% of money that goes into funding the Sun City West Posse comes from community donations. The same is true in Sun City.
