Donate to Valley nonprofits for National Nonprofit Day on Aug. 17

Fresh haircuts, manicures and facials were on deck for less fortunate individuals as part of the Phillips Law Foundation nonprofit effort.

Two years later, the group has grown — spreading awareness of illegal sex trafficking in the state and aiming to help find missing children via its Valley billboards, according to Olivia Lemorrocco, project manager of Phillips Law Foundation.

The group is among the list of nonprofits celebrating National Nonprofit Day — a day “dedicated to recognizing the efforts” of nonprofit groups and their contributions to the community, according to Societ, which partners with nonprofit groups.
