Donald (Don) Wright Martin, 87, August 28, 1929-March 22, 2017 of Sun City West and Surprise, Arizona went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2017. He was born on August 28, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Louis and Estelle Martin and was the second child of three children, the eldest son.Don graduated from Abington High School in Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1951. He married his high school sweetheart, Edy, on June 15, 1951. He was employed by Scott Paper Company NKA Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 37-years in both Philadelphia and Everett, Washington, with his last role being Western Regional Logistics Manager.He was a dedicated husband, father, church leader and Bible teacher. He was a man of strong character, generous with his time and resources, and had a tender heart.He was welcomed into heaven by his wife of 65-years, Edy, and survived by his three sons and their spouses: Wayne and Amy of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; John and Ronda of Apple Valley, California; and Rob and Mara of Everett, Washington. He had five grandchildren that he was immensely proud of: Rachel, Joshua, Jessica, Lauren and Andrew. He is also survived by his only brother, Merritt Mook Martin of Fort Collins, Colorado.A Memorial Service will be held at New Hope Fellowship, 19424 N.
