APACHE JUNCTION - Donald Leroy Cave, (Pops, Gramps) of Apache Junction, passed away May 4, 2011, in Gilbert, Ariz. He was born Dec. 25, 1933, in Pawnee, Ill. He was the owner of DC welding and was a welder himself for 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Doris Cave; daughter, Donna (Tim) Hedges; sons, David (Barbara) Cave, and Darrell (Angie) Cave; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dena (Bob) Scofield, Dorothy (Edgar) McCracken; brother, Bill Cave; and lots of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mabel Cave; and his brother, Bob Cave. "I've left my heart with you, so please don't cry, my love will reach you from Heaven, I'm always close by."
