SUN CITY - Donald E. Stover, devoted husband and family man, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2013 in Sun City. Donald was born in DuBois, Pa. on May 18, 1924 to Ralph and Wanda Stover. He was one of nine children and went on to become a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was married to the love of his life, Janie Stover, in 1952. They raised their two sons in Maumee, Ohio, where Donald was a supervisor at the Toledo Edison, and after retirement, he and Janie moved to Arizona in 1986. Donald was known for his humor, wit and most of all, his kindness. Everyone who knew Donald loved him. He enjoyed golf, bowling, bingo and baseball, and loved to share those hobbies with his wife and sons. Donald was pre-deceased by his parents and five siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, Janie; his sons, Mark (Sharon) Stover and Brent (Barb) Stover; his brothers Jim and Richard; his sister, Nancy; his five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and dozens of nieces, nephews and extended family. He loved all of his family dearly and he will be missed dearly by all. Services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 17, 2013 at All Saints of the Desert Episcopal Church, 9502 W Hutton Dr, Sun City, AZ 85351.
