Donald Carmichael

Donald Carmichael, 49Donald E. Carmichael Jr., 49, of Apache Junction, passed away Aug. 24, 2007.Mr. Carmichael was born July 25, 1958 in Bisbee, Ariz.He enjoyed traveling, hunting, baseball, fishing, NASCAR racing and spending time with his family. He worked for the D.O.C. and the Gila River Indian Community. He was a member of AUSA and the American Legion and he honorably served in the U.S. Army for 19 years. He was preceded in death by Johnny Johnston, Jeffrey Despins, his grandparents and many more loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Susan J. Carmichael; daughters, Jennifer, Melissa, Audrey, Tanya, Angela, Suzieann; parents, Donald and Marjorie Carmichael; Marylou Casebeer, Charles Johnston; siblings, Debra, Cheryl, Marvin, Michelle, eight grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services were held Aug. 31 at Veterans Gazebo in Apache Junction.Services at the National Cemetery in Phoenix will be announced.
