Housing developer Dominium, which has a controversial recent history in Surprise, announced it has closed on land to develop a new affordable housing community in the city.
Dominium officials said the company plans to build Allasso Ranch at the southwest corner of Happy Valley Road and 147th Avenue.
The development that’s designed to serve low-income families in the Valley will include 304 affordable units and is expected to feature playgrounds, private backyards, a community pool and additional outdoor amenities.
