At a recent Coffee with a Cop event, Paradise Valley Police Department Commander Patrick Beumler presented information about common signs and issues related to domestic violence. The Town of Paradise Valley has also proclaimed October 2023 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
“There’s this misconception that (domestic violence) is just poor neighborhoods, Section Eight housing, minorities, that kind of thing, but it’s very prevalent throughout society, even in more affluent areas, such as Paradise Valley,” Beumler said.
