Three years ago, the Recreation Centers of Sun City West officials put together a planned renovation after input from the Sun City West community.
The first phase was a renovation of the small dog park, which was completed last year. The RCSCW governing board approved the expenditure this fiscal year for the remaining large dog park at a total cost of $233,000.
Recreation Centers of Sun City West General Services Officer Katy O’Grady said the large dog park was closed July 15 and the renovation work was completed Oct. 29.
