The Best Friends Dog Club will get an indoor training and social facility, but when remains up in the air.
The Recreation Centers of Sun City Board of Directors approved putting a new dog club facility on the preservation and improvement fund schedule. But no timeline was assigned. The board approved the first reading of the measure at its Sept. 29 meeting, then approved a motion to waive the second reading, making the decision final.
“The Best Friends Dog Club members are very excited to get our indoor facility scheduled,” said Sherry Sargent. “This could influence cainine lovers to come here.”
