Documents: Goodyear official resigned amid misconduct allegations

Lori Gary was under investigation when she quit

The city of Goodyear’s former economic development director Lori Gary resigned from her position in late August following allegations related to professional misconduct, negligence, dishonesty and bullying, public records show.

An Aug. 26 letter obtained by a public record request found Gary had been placed on paid administrative leave as the city investigated the alleged misconduct.

Gary resigned before the investigation was completed.
