USGA, LPGA Girls Golf of Phoenix will have a two-day event at Mesa’s Dobson Ranch Golf Course that is open to girls ages 3-18
Girls Golf Day begins Oct. 6 with a pep rally followed the next day by a golf tournament for “course-ready girls,” according to a release.
“Growing the game of golf is more than just getting the kids on the golf course,” Cori Matheson, director of Girls Golf Phoenix, said.
“It’s about engaging them, empowering them and energizing them to make golf – and all the lessons it teaches – part of their core.”
