Divers recover body floating on Phoenix lake

The county medial examiner is completing an investigation into the cause and manner of death of man whose body was recovered from a lake over the Memorial Day weekend, Phoenix police said.

Just after 8 a.m. May 25, officers were called to Ceasar Chavez Park, 8440 South 35th Ave., to investigate a body floating on the lake, police said.

Detectives and rescue divers from the Phoenix Police Department assisted in recovery operations and found no apparent signs of foul play. The man was in the custody of the medical examiner.
