So, our “law and order” president has authorized his administration to pay $5 million to the family of the treasonous insurrectionist killed while trying to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
Ashli Babbitt was shot and killed as she was attempting to gain entry into the House speaker’s lobby after breaking into a secured area with a lethal weapon and failing to heed a lawful order from the police. On this day, approximately 140 law enforcement officers were injured during the Donald Trump-induced melee that went on in an effort to overturn the election defeat of Trump.
What message does this send to our law enforcement community? And what would have happened if Babbitt had been a young, black man? Would the Trump Justice Department be awarding him $5 million for participating in a riot?
I think we all know the answer to this. It’s the same pattern of behavior that caused the Trump administration to fly in over 50 South African “refugees,” all white Afrikaners.
I am disgusted and ashamed that my government is behaving in this manner. Where are all of the good Republicans, those of the law and order, Back the Blue patriotic Americans? Why do I just hear the deafening silence?
