Influenza vaccine at Mesa, San Tan Valley, Gilbert sites
Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital is offering free flu shots at three locations in the East Valley in an effort to build healthier communities.
It’s especially important to get the influenza vaccine this year as the flu season coincides with the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the flu shot does not protect against COVID-19, it can help reduce the spread of other respiratory illnesses in our homes and neighborhoods, according to a release.
“Now more than ever it’s essential to do your part to keep your friends and family healthy,” Dr. Brian Tiffany, chief medical officer for Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital, said in the release. “Getting your annual flu shot is a simple step you can take to protect your loved ones.”

Free flu shots are being offered at the following locations, regardless of insurance coverage:

Appointments are not necessary, but remember to wear a mask during your flu shot visit, the release states.
