Phase 1 of the Viewpoint Lake project is getting closer to liner and bank replacement.
Crews last week were grading an area near Lakeview Center, 10626 W. Thunderbird Blvd., an area that was completely flat the previous week. The area of work is near where the boat dock will be reinstalled.
Pacific Aquascape officials will replace the liner and concrete banks in three phases. Once the Lakeview phase is done they will move to the Cameo Drive finger for phase 2 then east for the final phase. No information was available at press time about the project schedule, which was delayed several times in the last fourth months due to rain.
