'West Valley Speed and Aggressive Driver Task Force' was deployed in Peoria

Motorists throughout Peoria may have experienced a larger than normal police presence today, including more than  250 traffic stops that left people driving home with tickets. 

The activity is part of a joint initiative with other Valley law enforcement agencies called the “West Valley Speed and Aggressive Driver Task Force.”

The mission of the campaign is to deliver high-visibility traffic enforcement with a zero-tolerance approach toward speeding and aggressive driving on roadways.
