Diane Christensen (Clements), passed away suddenly on 5/23/18. She was born on 10/16/1940 to Ernest Kenneth and Mary Adelaide (Bellamy) Clements in Deadwood SD, an only child. She graduated from Deadwood High School in 1958 and the University of South Dakota in 1962.She married Dennis Christensen in 1963 and they lived and taught school in Rapid City, SD for over 30 years. They moved to Sun City West, AZ in 2002.Diane loved to read, travel, play bridge and golf as well as volunteer through her church community. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren, family and numerous loving friends. She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Ron) Ablin of Scottsdale, AZ, son David Christensen of Irvine CA; her four grandchildren Taylor and Madison Ablin and Katie and Andrew Christensen; many wonderful nieces and nephews; her brother-in-law Don (Laura) Christensen of Omaha, NE and Mike Miller of Huron, SD. She is preceded in death by her husband Dennis Christensen, parents Ken and Mary, and her sisters-in-law Vickie and Nita Miller.Diane was an active member of PEO which is a philanthropic organization dedicated to promoting educational opportunities for women. Her family requests that no flowers be sent and any donations be made at www.gofundme.com by searching for "Diane Christensen Memorial". All funds will be donated to the PEO scholarship fund in her name. Funeral services will be June 9, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Desert Garden United Church at 18818 N. 128th Ave., Sun City West, AZ 85375.
